Matter of fact military Norman knight involved in leading the invasion of England at the Battle of Hastings. He is part of a family central to Norman power (Bayeux) and is extremely pragmatic. He wants to win the war but also gain more land for his family and jockey for power against the other Norman nobles. He loves his horse.
